Trenton: Two Vehicles Reported Stolen in Two Days

A Trenton man’s vehicle was stolen in front of his home sometime between 1:00 and 9:50 a.m., Friday, Jan.17, police said.
The report said the vehicle, a gray 2003 Dodge Ram truck with a customized six-inch lift kit, was parked in the 250 block of Pinetree at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 16 and was missing by 9:50 a.m. Friday.
The victim told police he had some tools, headphones and a GPS system inside, and believed the truck was locked. The man later reported that a gold, 800-series bowling ring and the title to his deceased father’s 2002 Ford Ranger were also in the truck.

On Jan.19 at about 3:11 a.m., a Trenton woman’s vehicle was reported stolen from her driveway, police said.
The report said the vehicle, a gray 2006 Dodge Magnum, was parked in the 3200 block of Pale Street at 1 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 19 and was missing two hours later.

The woman said that when she let her dog out sometime between 12:30 and 1 a.m. the vehicle was still parked in the driveway. She said the dog barked again to go out around 3 a.m., which is when she noticed the vehicle was missing, the report said.
The victim told police she had a “boom box,” designer boots, three chargers, a briefcase, a car seat, arts and crafts supplies and a toolbox full of screwdrivers, wrenches and sockets in the vehicle. She believed the overall estimated value of items in the vehicle was $1,000.
