Own a Piece of Trenton History; While Supplies Last

The new owner of the former A&W restaurant on West Jefferson Avenue is selling the interior and exterior contents to make room for a new coffee shop.

Anyone can own a piece of Trenton history--for the right price.

Historic and collectable A&W signs are up for auction at the former A&W restaurant, 2975 W Jefferson Avenue.

Property owner Mark Hayes partnered with Detroit Metro Auctions to sell exterior and interior fixtures including signs and restaurant grade kitchen equipment. There are several items up for auction.

Hayes said he just wants to clear away the old to make way for the new. He has plans to build a coffee shop, but can't get started on construction until the items are sold.

The online auction has already begun and closes at 7 p.m. July 8. All Items can be inspected on July 8th from noon to 3 p.m.
