Tuesday is the 2013 Primary Election in Trenton

Here's a list of five things to know before you head out the door to vote in Trenton's August Primary Election.

Voters will participate in what might be one of the most exciting primaries in the history of Trenton after a reported record number of candidates have decided to run for Trenton City Council.

The 2013 August Primary Election is set for Tuesday, August 6. 

There is nothing on the ballot, but the Trenton City Council election.

1.  Absentee ballots must be returned in-person by 4 p.m. Tuesday.

2.  Candidates answered a questionnaire to help you get to know them better.

3.  Trenton has seven voting precincts located throughout the city.

4.  Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

5.  There are three seats available with four-year terms. The top six vote getters will be placed on the ballot for the November Election.
