I am a former newspaper writer and editor currently working in the Strategic Communications Department of Oakwood Healthcare, Inc.

Through this blog I will talk about health issues that affect us all, weigh in on national trends, as well give a first-person account of my ongoing health battles, which include the Aging Weekend Warrior Syndrome (AWW...S!) and living with diabetes (without all the profanity).
