Trenton Mayor Kyle Stack has sent several emails to a major gourmet grocery chain to encourage the company to open up shop on Van Horn in Trenton.

Stack has contacted the major gourmet grocery chain four times via email to recommend they bring the store to Trenton. Stack said she thinks the former site of the Metro South Church, 3000 Van Horn Road, on the corner of Fort Street and Van Horn Road would be the perfect spot to house a Trader Joe's. A representative of Trader Joe's responded to one of Stack's emails Tuesday afternoon: "Rest assured, every email is read and your recommendation will be passed along to our real estate folks." A connection has been made. What do you think about Trader Joe's coming to Trenton? If not Trader Joe's, then what?
