Mystery Business Coming to Trenton

A new business began leasing the former InkSpot Tattoo & Body Piercing parcel in December.

Brown paper covers the windows of the former InkSpot Tattoo & Body Piercing space, indicating a new business might be opening in Trenton. The property became available for lease in August 2012 when the InkSpot closed down. The space is currently owned by C O Management Services of Woodhaven. John Howey of C O Management said the entity leasing the property wants the new business to be a surprise and has decided to keep any information about the business confidential. Look to Trenton-Grosse Ile Patch for more information on the new business at 2330 West Road as it becomes available. Trenton Tattoo Shop Closed, Space for Rent

A Trenton tattoo shop is closed and the space is for rent despite speculation the shop might reopen. What business would you like to see take its place?

Despite speculation that a tattoo shop at 2230 West Road might reopen, The InkSpot Tattoos and Body Piercing is closed and is not coming back. The shop was closed "temporarily" in June, according to a sign hanging on the door, which implied the business might reopen. However, the space is now up for rent. The space was cleaned up and has received a fresh coat of paint. Trenton Patch wants to know what you'd like to see take over the space that once housed The InkSpot?

It won't take long for the Business next door to close also. That's the way it is in Trenton. If it is not a pizza place or Hair salon it won't last. Plus, we need business downtown but that will be a ghost town soon.   more ›
