TV's Grand Event Hires Wine Expert from Wyandotte for New Venture
David Reno, owner of the former Winedotte Wines, teamed up with the owner of TV's Grand Event in Trenton to pair food and wine.
David Reno calls himself a caviste, which is French for cellarman or wine expert. After Reno's former business, Winedotte Wines, closed in July 2012, he decided to take his expertise for wine and apply it toward a new wine program at TV's Grand Event in Trenton called Grand Cru Wine Vault. Grand Event owner Victor Stroia hired Reno to be the director of all things wine-related on March 1. "When I was doing Winedotte Wines, my business was becoming an event business, with wine tastings, and I needed a venue where there's a kitchen," Reno said.
