Kayak Rentals in Full Swing at Elizabeth Park

Wyandotte's Riverside Kayak Connection has begun renting kayaks at Elizabeth Park in Trenton.

Riverside Kayak Connection in Wyandotte officially began kayak rentals at Elizabeth Park Thursday. Anita M. Twardesky, Community Outreach Manager for Riverside Kayak Connection, was on site for the official beginning of the rental season. Twardesky said all are welcome to enjoy kayaking in the park including businesses and organizations looking for a fun outing for employees and customers. "If a business wants to have an after work company picnic ... give us a call and we can make arrangements," Twardesky said. Bring water shoes and a plastic bag for valuables to Elizabeth Park at 4 p.m. Thursday for free kayak rentals sponsored by Riverside Kayak Connection in Wyandotte. The free day of kayaking was created to promote the business's grand opening of a new kayak rental area located near the park entrance. Trenton Mayor Kyle Stack is expected to be on site for a ribbon cutting ceremony. Anita M.
