Candlelight Vigil Set for Trenton Grad Fatally Struck by Car
Former Trenton High School student Jessie Winterholler, 19, tragically passed away on Dec. 7 when she was fatally struck by a car in Walker, MI.
A candle and sky lantern vigil was scheduled for 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16 at Trenton High School for Jessie Winterholler who was fatally struck by a car Friday night. The vigil was arranged Monday afternoon by several of Winterholler's friends. Those attending the vigil are asked to bring candles. Guests are asked to meet on the main football field. Several of Winterholler's closest friends are expected to speak and the Trenton High School Concert Band is expected to play music in her honor. Trenton graduate Matt Mayes, who grew up with Winterholler, met with district officials Monday to arrange the vigil.
