Animal Shelter Seeking Foster Home For Kittens, Home For Tortie Cat

The Woodhaven-Trenton Animal Shelter is looking for new homes for homeless cats.

The Woodhaven-Trenton Animal Shelter is looking for homes for a tortie cat and a mother with five newborn kittens. Kippy is a spayed female Tortie cat. She is five years old and has short hair. Kippy has been in the shelter for over two months and could really use a good home! Her adoption fee is $25. The shelter is also looking for a foster home for a mother and her five one-week old kittens. They need the foster care for at least five weeks. The shelter is also in desperate need for cat food and litter donations. The shelter is located at 21860 Van Horn Road in Woodhaven. For adoption information, call 734-675-4956.

Please don't call a five year old cat old! It is not uncommon for cats to live to be 25 or more years old. Cats live far lomnger than dogs if properly cared for, i.e. either kept indoors or protected with a cat proof fence, vaccinated properly and never fed dry food... which causes kidney failure.   more ›
