Alleged Armed Robber in Trenton Arraigned on Multiple Charges

A man who police believe robbed a Trenton 7-Eleven at gun point at about 12:50 a.m. Tuesday was arraigned on multiple charges the same day. Andrew James Farmer was arraigned Tuesday before Judge Jennifer Coleman Hesson of the 33rd District Court in Woodhaven. Coleman Hesson set Farmer's cash bond at $25,000. A preliminary examination of the evidence was scheduled for 9 a.m. Dec. 18 at the 33rd District Court. Farmer is charged with one count of armed robbery, one count of felony firearm and one count of assault, resisting arrest and obstruction of a police officer, which are all felonies. Farmer allegedly entered the 7-Eleven at 1901 King Road, pointed a hand gun at an employee, demanded money and ran out the door. He was arrested by …

Armed Robbery at 7-Eleven, Suspect in Trenton Police Custody

Trenton police arrested a man believed to have robbed a Trenton 7-Eleven at about 12:50 a.m. Tuesday. Police said the man entered the 7-Eleven at 1901 King Road, pulled out some type of weapon, demanded money and ran out the door. Over 8000 7-Eleven locations nationwide are offering a free 20oz coffee from 6 to 10 a.m. Sept. 28.

Putting the word "free" in front of anything makes whatever that thing is -- better. For example: free beer, free pizza, free coffee. See what I mean? Better. Apparently, officials at 7-Eleven have caught onto this little secret and more than 8,000 participating stores across the country will give away a free 20oz cup of coffee from 6 to 10 a.m. Sept. 28. Limit one per customer. 7-Eleven locations in and around Trenton and Grosse Ile are at 1901 King Road and 2842 Grange Road. Free makes everything better. Especially coffee.

Happy Birthday, 7-Eleven! Celebrate With a Free Slurpee

Participating locations will give away Slurpees between 11 a.m.-7 p.m. July 11 while supplies last.

Oh, thank heaven for July 11. On Wednesday, July 11, 7-Eleven will celebrate its 85th birthday by offering free 7.11-ounce Slurpees to customers at participating stores, including locations on King Road and Grange Road in Trenton. Since 2002, millions of free Slurpee beverages have been given away on July 11 and 7-Eleven estimates this to be the biggest birthday to date as they prepare to give away 7 million free Slurpee drinks. The promotion runs from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. In addition, 7-Eleven invites customers in store to peel, play and win with "Big Summer Sweeps" game pieces found on specially marked products throughout the store. Free Coffee Day at 7-Eleven On Thursday

7-Eleven says it's giving away free coffee from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 29. The chain has locations at 1901 King Road and 2842 Grange Road.

The weather is beginning to turn and a free hot coffee can make the brisk September morning air feel like a summer's breeze. The early birds, and the not-so-early birds, have the rare opportunity to enjoy a free medium coffee at 7-Eleven Thursday, Sept. 29 from 7 to 11 a.m. Trenton is home to two 7-Eleven locations at 1901 King Road and 2842 Grange Road. Coffee is good. Free coffee is better.
