Established in 1927, the Veterans Memorial Library is the first public library to open in Trenton; its importance in the library system remains today. The library was renamed from the Trenton Public Library to the Veterans Memorial Library in the mid-1970's. It provides more than 21,000 square feet of space and offers more than 90,000 books. The building is designed to allow for new technology as it becomes available.
