Trenton Fire Department Holds Benefit Concert for Hearing Impaired Students

Donations remain open as the department hopes to reach its goal of $5,800.

The Trenton Fire Department Charities, in partnership with the Trenton Public Schools Hearing Impaired Program, raised about $1000 during its Dec.10 holiday benefit concert to purchase smoke detectors for hearing-impaired students.

The concert, performed by local band Passport to Nowhere, featured the music of Trans Siberian Orchestra.

“For those that braved the cold, it was a great show,” said Fire Chief Jeff Evans, who played drums at the event.
