Christmas Parade Participants sought to “Light the Night!”

Trenton, MI - Before you know it, Christmas will be upon us. The Trenton Civic Commission is getting ready for Trenton's “Light the Night” Christmas Parade and welcoming Santa to Trenton. This year's parade will be held Saturday, December 7, 2013, at 6:00 p.m. on West Jefferson in Downtown Trenton.  It takes the interest and commitment of many people to make this parade happen and the Trenton Civic Commission is seeking parade participants to help in making Trenton’s Christmas parade a success.  Groups can walk, march, have a float, or perform. No group is too big or too small. Parade applications are available at the Parks and Recreation office located in Trenton City Hall. Entries must be received by November 25.   Sponsorship opportunities for the parade and tree lighting ceremony are also available. Businesses and organizations have the opportunity to share their holiday spirit by becoming a light-up sponsor for the parade or sponsoring the lighting of the official Christmas tree at the Clock Tower following the parade.
