Trenton Summer Festival: Everything You Need to Know in One Place

We scoured the Internet for all the information we could possibly find on the Trenton Sumer Festival.

The festival will be held from Thursday to Sunday in Downtown Trenton. There will be 150 arts and crafts displays, food vendors, sporting tournaments, kids area and live music.

The event will beheld from 10 a.m. to 11pm on Friday and Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Patrons can enjoy a free shuttle service every ten minutes each day of the event. Park cars at the Kennedy Recreation Center, Trenton High School and K-Mart on West Road in Woodhaven. The shuttle is free.

Here's a list of activities, entertainment, food and everything else you can expect from the event of the summer:

Entertainment

Thursday:
  • Alan Turner and The Steel Horse Band from 8 top 10 p.m.
Friday Main Stage:
  • Rick Lieder Band from noon t0 2 p.m.
  • Toppermost from 2 to 4 p.m.
  • The Leftovers from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
  • 50 Amp Fuse from 8:30 to 11 p.m.
Saturday Main Stage:
  • Lisa's Dance Factory from noon to 2 p.m.
  • Alan Turner and The Steel Horse Band from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.
  • AllenAsTim and The Dance Hall Rockers (A Tim McGraw Tribute Band) from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
  • The Tubes featuring Fee Waybill from 8:30 to 11 p.m.
Sunday Main Stage:
  • Soulquest beginning at noon
Friday North Stage:
  • Chuck Tocco
Saturday North Stage:
  • Rustbelt Revival & Audio Band
Sunday North Stage: 
  • DJ Tunes & Jake Cemer

Tournament

  • Volleyball tournament begins at 10 a.m. Saturday and Sunday for Class B and C teams. Co-ed teams of six will take to the courts at Elizabeth Park near the concession stand.

Kids' Korner

  • The Children's Playmarket begins Friday and is located near the clock tower at West Road and West Jefferson Avenue in Downtown Trenton. Children can enjoy arts and crafts, join in various activities and win prizes. There will also be games of skill, sidewalk chalk art and the annual Diaper Derby and Toddler Trot.
  • The Trenton Fire Department will host an popen house at Fire Station #1 in Downtown Trenton, where children will get a chance to check out fire trucks and meet fire fighters. Kids will also learn valuable lessons about fire safety. Don't let your child miss his or her chance to operate a fire hose.

Food and Drink

  • There will be no shortage of various types of foods and drinks provided by several local and non-local vendors and restaurants.
  • Enjoy breakfast at the festival at 8 a.m. Friday. Guests can enjoy a breakfast buffet. Tickets for the Breakfast at Festival are $12 each and are available at the Parks and Recreation office at City Hall.
  • Enjoy a frosty brew at any of the beer tents located throughout the festival.
