Trenton Officials Waive Fee for Trenton Baseball Association

The Trenton Baseball Association have invested over $50,000 into field renovations at various city baseball fields since 2005.

Trenton officials voted in favor of waiving the annual fee for 2013 of $3,000 for the Trenton Baseball Association Monday.

Association President Rick Tanguay requested the fee be waived after citing several projects performed and paid for by the TBA dating back to 2005.

Here are a list of projects paid for by the TBA and donations from various sources:

  • Hedke Elementary School backstop fence repair for $300 in 2005.
  • Anderson Elementary School backstop fence repair for $300 in 2005.
  • Tefend Park red clay and installation for $1,500 in 2005.
  • Haas Park rebuild of field for $28,214 in 2005.
  • Haas Park red clay and installation for $178 in 2006.
  • Lions Park red clay and installation for $2,888 in 2007.
  • Slocum Park red clay, back stop and wings and home run fence for $16,853 in 2012.
