Share News About Your Favorite Sports Team on Patch

We're looking for parents, players or fans to blog about their favorite fall sports team!

If you've got a favorite sports team, we've got an easy way for you to brag about their accomplishments.

Patch is looking for bloggers for the fall sports season, whether it be a youth, high school, college or professional team.

Want to share the final score? Or highlight a key player? Maybe you know the coach and want to let us know why he/she is so great? Whatever is on your mind, we want to hear it.

What does blogging on Patch entail?

  • It's quick, easy and free.
  • You can blog as much or as little as you wish. There are no deadlines or requirements. You can put your story on the site whenever the inspiration hits you.
  • All you have to do is enjoy sharing your voice!

With our new platform, blogs are automatically featured front-and-center on our homepage. As soon as you post, the community can join your discussion. How cool is that?

After your blog is on the site, you can promote it on your own Facebook and Twitter accounts to share your voice even more.

Here’s how to get started:

Log onto Trenton-Grosse Ile Patch and in the upper right-hand corner, create an account if you don't have one already. Once you're logged in, head to our main blogging page where you can start a blog. You'll be asked three things: to name your blog, to write a short description of the blog and then to upload a thumbnail to appear on the account.

Once you hit the create button, you're on your way to making your first blog post. It's that simple! Whenever you post a blog entry, please include photos with it, if you have them, as we're able to promote posts with photos much better on the site than those without photos.
