Join us on September 14, 2012 @ Elizabeth Park in Trenton to help raise money and awareness for the Special Olympics of Michigan.
The Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) is the largest grassroots fundraiser for Special Olympics. Michigan's LETR raises funds for 19,620 athletes and that number continues to grow! The funds support the athletes and their families because there is no cost to participate. The Special Olympics provides year round training and competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
Join us Friday, Sept 14 at Elizabeth Park. Registration on-site starts at 1pm and we will begin our run/walk/bicycle at 2pm. The event will be fun and informal! Registration is $25 and includes a dri-fit t-shirt. Approximate distance is 2 miles but that is all dependent on what YOU want to do!
