Whiz Kid: Passionate Musician Also Shines in Class

Whiz Kid:  Jenny Wynn

Age:  13

Accomplishments:  As an eighth-grade student at , Jenny is making her mark in the classroom and in her extracurricular activities.  She is a passionate musician and taught herself the tuba, which she currently plays for the junior high’s concert and jazz bands. She also plays trumpet and looks forward to becoming a member of the Trenton High School marching band next year.  

In the classroom, Jenny started strong by earning the Principal Award for every card marking during her elementary school years. Today, she continues on the Honor Roll at Boyd Arthurs and is in the accelerated math program.

Jenny is also a student council representative and a W.E.B. leader.

Athletically, Wynn swims for the Trenton Swim Club and Boyd Arthurs, runs cross country for her school and plays AYSO soccer.

Key to Success: “Jenny is very energetic and likes to keep busy,” Jenny’s mother Kathy Wynn said. “She takes pride in doing her best at all she does.”
