Trenton Student Council Members Bring Home Several Awards

The student council members at Trenton High School were acknowledged for several accomplishments including donated to a local charity.

Trenton High School student council members won several awards at the Michigan Associations of Student Councils (MASC) this weekend.

Trenton High School was one of 30 schools to receive the MASC Award of Excellence, Star School Award and Exceptional Service Project Award.

Trenton students received awards for several projects completed throughout the school year including raising he second largest amount of money in Michigan for a local charity. Students raised and donated money to Rock CF.

Rock CF, a national organization dedicated to raising funds to cure cystic fibrosis, was recently selected as the Michigan Association of Student Councils' Charity of the Year. Rock CF is based in Trenton.

Student council adviser Lori Holcomb said she was very proud of the students' accomplishments.
