Trenton Rotary Donates Books, Guest Reader to Hedke Students

Third graders at Hedke Elementary School received a free book Wednesday from the Trenton Rotary Club.

Third graders at Hedke Elementary School sat on a large rug in the back of Anissa Kiah's class Wednesday, as Trenton High School Principal Michael Doyle read them a story.

The Trenton Rotary Club purchased nearly 30 copies of a book written by a fellow Rotary International member and handed them out to the students.

Doyle, also a member of the Trenton Rotary Club, read from a book called "Andy & Elmer's Apple Dumpling Adventure," written and illustrated by Andrew J. Shoup.
