Voting takes place on the homepage of the Shore to Shore website. Voting closes May 1.

In Trenton's video 16 high school chior students sing new lyrics to the popular hip-hop song "Thrift Shop" by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, while lyrics and images bounce across the screen in time with the music.

Woodhaven's video features students dancing and singing new lyrics to the music of "Love Shack" by the B-52s.

Mike Kurilko, band and choir director at Trenton High School, said the project was conceived and created by students.

"The kids picked the song," Kurilko said. "They recorded it and put the whole thing together."

Kurilko has high hopes for his students' video submission and credits Shore to Shore for a unique opportunity for his students to express themselves in a fun and interesting way.

"Thanks to Shore to Shore for their support because we (music programs) can all use it," Kurilko said.
