DCTC Hosts 10th Grade Career Expo

The Downriver Career Technical Consortium will hold a 10th-grade career expo from 6-8 p.m. Feb. 9, at Carlson High School Cafeteria.

Nine school districts will be represented: Airport, Flat Rock, Gibraltar, Grosse Ile, Huron, Riverview, Southgate, Trenton, and Woodhaven-Brownstown.

More than 20 CTE programs will be represented, from accounting and finance to welding technology. Those who attend will learn about earning college credit while in high school, meet program instructors, preview programs and more. Career presentations are also planned at 6:30, 7 and 7:30 p.m. in Room 22A.
