Arthurs MS to Celebrate Schools to Watch Nomination
A party has been set to celebrate Boyd W. Arthurs Middle School's recent Schools to Watch nomination.
Administrators at are getting things ready to celebrate being listed as a by the National Forum to Accelerate Middle-Grades Reform.
The party is scheduled from 6:30 to 8 p.m. April 26 at Arthurs Middle School, with a banner unveiling at 7:30 p.m.
Arthurs administrators like Principal Stephanie O'Conner applied for the designation in November 2011. The application process included an on-site visit by members of the national forum in January.

Student art work will be on display throughout the building and guests can enjoy performances from the school chior and jazz band.
