West Road Construction Continues, Expect More Delays Near Trenton
Wayne County officials are encouraging motorists to find alternate routes.
Road construction near Trenton will be back Monday and Tuesday as crews begin paving West Road from Hall to Telegraph roads in Brownstown and Woodhaven.
Crews will be paving the lanes on the south side of West Road.
Business access will be available, but Wayne County officials encourage motorists to seek alternate routes.
The project has already caused traffic delays along West Road in Woodhaven and Trenton since it began in May.
Crews are preparing to begin paving the north side of West Road, as well.
Wayne County officials are asking business owners to mark sprinkler locations. Sprinklers placed in the right-of-way without a county permit will not be replaced, according to a Wayne County Department of Public Service release.
