VIDEO: Marshmallow Drop in Trenton

The had their annual Friday despite rain and cold temperatures.

Parents and children form all around came to in Trenton to try to capture the elusive special marshmallow. Patch caught up with a boy who managed to get his hands on one of the special marshmallows, and he showed us the wonderful prize he received for finding it.

The event began at about 9 a.m. and a helicopter dropped marshmallows three times for three different age groups. Each child traded a marshmallow for a prize from the Easter Bunny. Children lucky enough to get the special marshmallow received a basket filled with candy, toys and games.

Hundreds of children participated in the pubic event.
