Trenton City Hall to Host Murder Mystery

The murder mystery is part of a fundraiser that supports childhood literacy projects and projects of Rotary International.

The Rotary Club of Trenton is turning the hallowed halls of Trenton City Hall into a crime scene for a murder mystery.

Trenton Rotarians including Councilperson Timber Baun will take an audience through a calculating and entertaining journey to find out who killed who in the murder mystery, "Murder in the Court" by James Daab.

The event is set to begin at 6 p.m. Oct. 18. Guests will enjoy a strolling dinner provided by The Rhapsody in Southgate, beer and wine before the 7 p.m. performance, which includes audience participation.

Tickets are $35 and include dinner. Guests will compete in the show for a chance to win prizes. Raffle tickets will be sold for a chance to win an iPod donated by the Taylor and Woodhaven Walmart stores.

Performers are local Rotarians as directed by Mary Zaleski of the Downriver Youth Performance Art Center. 

“You don’t have to be an expert in solving mysteries to have fun," Dr. Noel Jackson, president of Rotary Club of Trenton, said.
