Springtime Means Fun Time in Trenton

With the Easter Bunny, marshmallows and the Ugly Duckling, Trenton has a bunch of springtime activities just in time for Easter.

April is shaping up to be an action-packed month for activities in Trenton, especially with Easter right around the corner.

At 9 a.m. on April 22, Wayne County Parks and Trenton Parks and Recreation will present the 2011 Marshmallow Drop in Elizabeth Park. More than 20,000 marshmallows will be dropped from a helicopter as 4,000 children rush to see who can collect the most marshmallows in their respective age divisions.

The following day at 10 a.m. April 23 the Westfield Center is hosting Trenton’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt. Children who attend this event will be grouped into four age groups and every child will have his or her chance to take a picture with the Easter Bunny.
