Poll: Will You Vote in the Presidential Primary?
Trenton officials said the number of voters for the 2012 presidential primary will likely be far less than the 2008 presidential primary.
If the 2008 presidential primary is any precursor for what's to come on Feb. 28, the majority of Trenton residents will drive right past their respective precincts and not look back.
Trenton City Clerk Trish Gearhart said 27 percent of registered Trenton voters showed up for the 2008 presidential primary and anticipates far less next week.
Gearhart said she anticipates about 15 percent of registered voters in Trenton will make it to the polls.
