Macalia is the Trenton Patch Pet of the Week. She is a 9-month-old Domestic short hair Calico cat. Macalia is looking for a new place to plant her paws. She was brought to the Trenton-Woodhaven Animal Shelter as a stray, and was already spayed so her adoption fee is only $25.

What Makes A Calico?
Calico cats, by definition, have patches of orange, white and black fur. In the calico, these patches are distinct. Tortoise shell cats have the same coloring as calicoes, but their colors blend together.
