Christmas Tree Pickup Has Begun

Trenton Department of Public Works will pick up Christmas trees and turn them into wood chips now through January.

Residents with real Christmas trees will be able to easily dispose of them right away while being environmentally friendly at the same time.

The will pick up trees that are placed at the curb for free.

Collections will take place on the regular trash pickup schedule.

Ornaments, decorations, tree stands and plastic bags must be removed.

The trees will be turned into wood chips after being collected and used throughout the city.
