City Council Meeting Agenda Preview: August 1

Here are some highlights from the agenda for Monday's Trenton City Council meeting held at 8 p.m. in the Council Chambers at .

• There are three people resigning from the historic, cable and civic commissions. Darlene Schoen, Jeannine Finegan and Noreen Petersen will be resigning at the meeting. To find out how to sign up for any city commission contact the Trenton City Clerk's Office 734-675-8300.
• There are two block party requests.
• An item tabled from May 2, 2011 has returned to the agenda. The ordinance regarding medical marijuana dispensaries will be discussed. A substitute ordinance of the same topic will also be discussed.
• A study session is proposed for Aug. 8. Council members will vote on the subject and the date and time of the session.
