Chrysler Engine Calls City Hall Home

A Chrysler Pentastar V6 engine in now on display at Trenton City Hall.

A fully-assembled can be found on display at for about the next three months.

Mayor Kyle Stack said she and Trenton officials arranged the new display with Chrysler officials to show residents exactly what is being built at the just a few miles away.

"I like it," Stack said. "People are stopping by to see what it's all about."

City Clerk Trish Gearhart joked she was happy the engine is nearby in case she ever needs parts for her Chrysler 200's engine.

The engine is located near the front doors of city hall. The doors have been blocked off for over a year due to damaged concrete. The concrete was fixed in September, but Trenton officials decided to keep the barriers in place to avoid having to spend money on snow maintenance through the winter according to Stack.

Stack added the barriers are set to be removed at the beginning of April.
