UPDATED: 23rd District State Representative Race

Unofficial results show Pat Somerville as the Republican nomination for state representative of the 23rd district of Michigan.

The unofficial results from the 23rd district have Pat Somerville with a landslide victory over Jeremy Cady by more than 4,300 votes in the race for the Republican nomination to represent the 23rd District in the state house.

A lifelong Downriver resident, Somerville was first elected to the state House of Representatives in 2010 before to represent Brownstown Township, Flat Rock, Gibraltar, Grosse Ile Township, Huron Township, Rockwood, Sumpter Township and Woodhaven.
