Washing Machine Broken Into at Trenton Apartment Complex

The following information was supplied by the Trenton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The owner of an apartment complex on the 400 block of St. Joseph in Trenton called the police on Thursday to file a complaint about damage to the complex's coin-operated washing machine.

According to the police report, the locked top piece was missing from the washing machine, and it looked like someone had pried it off.

According to the owner, the money is collected in a different drawer on the bottom of the washing machine, and no money was stolen, the report said.

There are no suspects or witnesses, according to police.
