Two Men Arrested at Former Riverside Hospital

Trenton police arrested two men after the men admitted to being on the property of the former Riverside Hospital at about 3:30 a.m. March 2.

Police received a report of three people dressed in black walking around the Riverside Hospital property. As officers responded to the area they saw two men running away from the property fence line.

Officers detained the two men who admitted to being on the property and stated that their friend was still inside the fence attempting to get on the roof of one of the hospital buildings, according to a Trenton police report.

Police said one of the detained men had a large deer antler made into a smoking pipe on him at the time of the arrest.

Police searched a vehicle belonging to one of the men and found four grams of marijuana and $1,200 cash.

Both men were arrested for trespassing. One of the men was also issued a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

Both men received citations and were released.

Police said the third subject was not located.
