A third suspect, who has not been identified, remains at large.

Two Downriver residents were charged Thursday with attempted murder in the Nov. 18 shooting of a 31-year-old Trenton man, and a third suspect remains at large, a newspaper reported today.

Berquette Ali Wahla and Pasty Carol Gregg of Flat Rock were arraigned in 33rd District Court in Woodhaven before Judge Michael McNally, The News-Herald said.

The incident occurred about 12:30 a.m. at an apartment complex in the 3600 block of Van Horn Road. The victim was reportedly taking out the trash when two men and a woman approached him; beat him to the ground, and then shot in his left arm. Police told the newspaper the man was released from the hospital and was recovering at home.
