Trenton Woman Lets Stranger Use Phone, Medication Stolen

A Trenton woman reported her medication was stolen at about 1:20 a.m. Nov. 9 at the Trenton Motor Inn.

The woman said a man that she knew lived with his parents nearby knocked on her door to make a call at about midnight.

She told police she used the bathroom after letting the man into her room and when she came out he was gone. At about 1:10 a.m. she was taking her medication when she noticed that her bottle of Clonazepam only had one tab left, according to a Trenton police report.

The woman told police no one else was in her home and she believes the man took the pills.

The pill bottle contained 45 tabs on Nov. 6 when it was filled, according to the same report.
