Trenton Police Week Dedication to Honor Officers

Trenton police will honor fallen officers Wednesday evening during a dedication ceremony for National Police Week.
The event is planned for 5:30 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 2550 Edsel Street.
Thousands will gather Wednesday in Washington D.C. to pay tribute to law enforcement members during a series of scheduled events, drawing an estimated 25,000-40,000 attendees.

The National Peace Officers' Memorial Service, sponsored by the Grand Lodge of the Fraternal Order of Police, will include a candlelight vigil to honor law enforcement members who died in the line of duty, according to National Police Week organizers.
