Trenton Police Officers Awarded for Outstanding Service (VIDEO)

Recent arrests made during the night shift prompted Trenton Police Chief Jim Nardone to acknowledge his "Nightstaklers" with department compliments.

Seven Trenton police officers recently acquired a nickname for their outstanding ability to catch the bad guys--"The Nightstalkers."

Trenton Police Chief Jim Nardone started calling the night shift officers his "Nightstalkers," after they made several successful arrests in the past six months.

The officers were presented with department compliments Tuesday night at Trenton City Hall. The officers awarded were:

The awards were meant to commend the officers for outstanding service during arrests made in August, September and November of 2012.

Several people attended the awards ceremony including Trenton Mayor Kyle Stack, officers' families and several city council members.
