Trenton Police Catch 2 Teens in the Act, Ends in Arrests

The following information was supplied by the Trenton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Trenton police arrested two 16-year-old boys after responding to a report about two subjects seen going through vehicles at about 3 a.m. Feb. 16 in the 1900 block of Marian.

Police arrived on the scene and the two boys began to run. An officer exited his patrol car and pursued them on foot.

The officer on foot ordered one of the boys to stop and he complied. The boy had several items in the front pocket of his sweatshirt, according to a Trenton police report.

At least three Trenton residents reported items stolen earlier the night of the arrest, according to the same report.
