Trenton Police Arrest Man Following Traffic Stop

The following information was supplied by the Trenton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Trenton police arrested a 47-year-old man who was allegedly driving without a license and for an improper plate at about 9:30 p.m. Dec. 18 near the Westfield Activities Center.

An officer said the man was driving a black Chevrolet Blazer with a license plate registered for a 1994 Ford pickup truck.

The officer made a traffic stop for the improper plate and realized the man was driving without a driver's license.

The man said he bought the car two weeks before he was pulled over and the license plate was on the truck when he bought it, according to a Trenton police report.

The man was arrested and issued a citation for driving without a liscence and improper plates. He was released on personal recognizance bond.

I thought title transfers were required within a two week span, which would require him to purchase his own plate. I'm sure he will pay his citation too. What a joke, I thought the first snow job happened yesterday. ??
