Trenton Man Reports Identity Theft That Leads to Detroit Residence

The following information was supplied by the Trenton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

A 42-year-old Trenton man reported someone stole his identity to open an account with Comcast at about 1 p.m. April 15 in the 1900 block of Marian Drive.

Police said a Comcast account was opened and installed at a residence in the 20100 block of Wexford Street in Detroit on Nov. 27, 2012.

The account was deactivated and disconnected on Dec. 12, 2012, according to a Trenton police report.

Police said there were no names listed with the account and the man has no idea how his information was obtained and used.
