Trenton Man Reports Company to Police Over Rifle Purchase

The following information was supplied by the Trenton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

A 48-year-old Trenton man told police he wired $1,378 in exchange for a rifle, but had not received the rifle at about 4 p.m. Feb. 11 in the 1800 block of Heartherhill.

The man said he wired the money to Infitech LLC Cherokee Trading Company. He said he called the company several times to inquire about the purchase and several times he was told that the rifle was ready to be shipped, but to date had not.

The last conversation he had with the company he requested a refund and the subject hung up on him, according to a Trenton police report.
