Trenton Business Owner Reports Car Stolen

The following information was supplied by the Trenton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

A Trenton business owner reported his car was stolen sometime between 5 p.m. May 30 and 7:30 a.m. May 31 while parked at 350 W. Jefferson Ave.

The man told Trenton police that he parked his white and blue 1978 Pontiac Trans Am in the south parking lot on May 30 in an effort to sell the car, but when workers came in the next day, the car was gone.

The man said he had received a call from a male who said he was at the car on the night before it was found missing. The man on the phone asked if he could buy the car for $7,000, but the business owner did not accept the offer, according to a report.
