Thief Props Truck Up on Bricks, Steals Rims in Trenton

The following information was supplied by the Trenton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

A 66-year-old Trenton resident reported his tires and wheels stolen off his 2013 Ford Escape between midnight and 8 a.m. Dec. 31 in the 1200 block of Harbour Drive.

Trenton police said someone propped the truck up using landscaping bricks and removed the tires and rims, according to a Trenton police report.

A neighbor told police she saw a white male get out of a Pontiac Grand Am or Grand Prix in front of her residence and approach her Ford Focus about four days before the above incident. She said the man was looking at the tires on her car.
