Thief Breaks Dryers, Steals Change

Police responded to a call at Bretton Woods Condominiums after someone broke into the community dryers in the basement of the complex at about 9:30 a.m. April 14.
The responding officer said the coin boxes on two dryers had been pried out and were missing.
The resident of the complex who reported the incident said a key is needed to enter the building, so “he believes it may have been someone who lives in or had previously lived in the complex,” according to a report.

Police said the exact amount of money taken from the dryers was unknown at the time of the incident.
