david dejesus. Speeding is one thing. Going over 90 MGH through a red light is a different story. My only wish is that he only killed himself instead of wiping out these innocent young people. His actions are completely indefensible. Only a madman who acts as recklessly as this killer would defend or excuse this madman's behavior.

Muder, nah! To have murder to have to have intent! That was not Darrels' intention! Obviously a horrible and yes in someone hearts unforgiveable! I happen to know Darrel and am very confused by all this! Has anyone ruled out a heart attack or stroke? To the families of the boys, may god be with u and may u have the abolity to hear god while he speaks to u! We were not put here to judge and in the end Darrel only has to answer to one! To Darrels family I have the same wish for you! May god bless you and help u through this horrible time! I know u are grievong for Darrel and those boys!

"Muder, nah! To have murder to have to have intent!" You don't need intent for Second Degree Murder, so his family can console themselves with the fact that they only raised a Second Degree Murderer and not a first-degree one.

To Blink, you are right 2nd degree murder (maybe) vehicular manslaughter (more likely). What we are saying is Darrel did not intentionally do this! It was a horrible horrible accident! I am none to judge! He had a wife and family, they and everyone else who knew Darrel has the right to mourn! His family has the right to mourn his loss and the loss of the two young men! Anyone who has faith and compassion would know forgiveness is the key to healing! I know it's hard to forgive, I know it would be hard for me! My heart hurts for the families of the three young men and I pray everyday the third young man is healing! Just because Darrel made mistakes as a teeneage or ayoung adult does not make him a horrible person! He made a horrible decision and he has paid the ultimate price! This is not for me or anyone else to judge! RIP Darrel you'll be missed!
