Routine Stop Ends in Arrest for Trenton Police

Trenton police arrested a man after realizing he had three outstanding warrants during a routine traffic stop at about 5 p.m. Nov. 9 at West Jefferson Avenue and King Road.

An officer stopped a black 1996 Chevrolet because the vehicle did not have brake lights. The driver of the car had a warrant out of Wyandotte and the passenger had three warrants for his arrest, according to a Trenton police.

The passenger had a criminal bench warrant out of Taylor and two warrants out of Brownstown Township for minor in possession.

Trenton police released the driver and arrested the passenger. The passenger was turned over to the Taylor Police Department.
