Police Searching for Missing Trenton Teen

Witnesses told police they spoke to Nathan Alan Tracy of Trenton after a car crash before he ran away on foot.

Pittsfield Police are looking for a 19-year-old Trenton man after witnesses say he ran away on foot from a hit and run car accident on Wednesday.

Pittsfield Police responded to the scene of a hit and run crash at 11:30 p.m. Sept 5, near Oak Valley Drive and Ranchero Drive in Pittsfield Township.

A witness spoke to the driver on scene before he left the area on foot, prior to police arrival, according to a news release from police.

Police said family members have not heard from the driver since prior to the crash and have reported him as a missing person. According to a news release, Nathan Alan Tracy was last seen wearing a blue tank top, shorts, and deck shoes.

I know the family here and can certainly feel their pain. I can only imagine what they're going through right now. Hopefully the police have some leads and Nate will be back home soon. My thoughts and prayers are with Nate and the family right now. Only wish there were something I could do.
